March Events in SLC 2024

We are crossing our fingers that March weather turns from lion to lamb quickly, we can’t wait for spring! The calendar of March Events in SLC is stacked with a wide variety of ways to learn, connect and grow at The Shop SLC. From basketball to Barbie, we’ve got a lot of fun planned!

All Month: March Madness Bracket Challenge

Details: We are inviting our members to join The Shop’s bracket challenge for March Madness. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. May the best team win!

March 1st-March 10th: Oscar Winner Predictions

Details: We will be putting out the 2024 Oscar Nominee ballots, and the person who is closest to the correct answers will win a SLFS Red Carpet Club Membership

March 5th: Cookie Club featuring Après from The Local

Time: 12:00pm-2:00pm

Details: It wouldn’t be a calendar of March Events in SLC with a dedicated cookie club! Join us as we enjoy the newest cookie spot to hit the slopes, Après at The Local Eatery and Bar.

March 5th: Neighbor’s Night at The Local

Time: All Day

Details: The Good Bar at The Local features a variety of locally sourced and imported options, each Tuesday enjoy the $4 pint of the week. Every second Tuesday of the month, swing by for a tap takeover with a rotation of your favorite local breweries.

March 6th:  Networking at  The Local with YPSLC and GAIG  featuring Headshots with Kelli Freshman Photography

Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm

Details: Join us for a networking night at The Local with Young Professionals of Slat Lake City & Girl Get After It SLC. Kelli Freshman Photography will be there for your updated headshot needs!

March 7th:  Trivia with Game Night Live at The Local

Time: 7:00pm-9:00pm

March 8th: International Women’s Day

Join us as we celebrate International Women’s Day the best way we know how, with a female empowerment movie! We will be screening Barbie in the main floor.

March 11th: Daylight Savings Day Pick me Up

Details: We are thrilled to be hosting Kendall, owner of The Vibrant Club, as she holds a pop up in our space for International Women’s Month. Stop by to check out her apparel, and buy an item or two!

March 12th: Bench to Bedside Networking Event with the University of Utah

Time: 5:30pm-7:30pm

Details: Meet with the Bench to Bedside Student Leadership team to review competition deliverables, identify resources available for teams, and fine-tune your plan to submit a winning team packet before Competition Night in April. March 14th: Pi Day; Member Happy Hour
